From mid January till the end of March you have concerts and movies (Avatar, Inception...) for free!
There is a little difference between the ad and reality Kiwis are so relax they come to the concert with a camping mindset. Some people were dancing though... and we were eating ice creams because it is a #@$%! liquor ban area.
