Fletcher Bay to Stony Bay and return

Fletcher bay is not far from Coromandel but it's a long way... gravel-roads in the mountains and a ford to cross.
In New Zealand you see mixed lanscapes: Alps, highlands, jungle, beaches all during the same walk!
Just follow the signs on the track...
  Beautiful colors.
This trail is 18km long and it takes 7 hours.
 T'choupi peeing in the bushes.
The highest point of the trail at 537m.
"Somewhere in Middle Earth lies the Shire"
 Peter Jackson was right...
...even the track is sized for hobbits!
After this exhausting walk (that ended around 9pm) I met nice dudes on the camping site in Fletcher Bay. They were roasting a piece of pork and a chicken for 6 hours, made their own potato bread and greeted me with this "Kawa-style" homemade greenish alcohol (I am not sure if I want to know how it is made and what are the ingredients of the Wild Thing Hoochie)
